Chris Munt
Chris Munt boasts an exceptional career which has seen him across the world from London as apprentice to Trevor Sorbie to Milan, Paris and New York. Leading him to work with the likes of designers Mui Mui, Prada, Gucci and celebrities Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria and Kylie Minogue.
After 14yrs travelling the globe, working the dizzying heights of the catwalk, stage and magazine shoot hairdressing, charming Chris has set up home and family in Saltash. Now using his teaching degree to pass on his invaluable experience to the future hairdressers of the South West.
Luke Honey
An experienced qualified senior stylist of six years. Fully trained in all aspects of hairdressing. Specialising in ‘hair ups’, extensions, ‘clip ins’ and Wedding hair as featured in the October 2010 edition of OK magazine for Grace Short’s wedding (Big Brother). Featured in Wedding magazines such as ‘Wed’ Devon’s Biggest Wedding Magazine and Devon Living. Trained in the Keratin complex treatment for smoothing the hair also known as a Brazilian blow dry. have been Involved in local competitions and GHD training academy for the South West.
Aaron Grey
I’ve been hairdressing for 5 years. I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing from cutting, colouring to Hair up. I’m qualified in Level 1,2 and 3 hairdressing, have completed barbering courses and Balmain hair extensions. I thoroughly enjoy my job and will always do my best in understanding what my clients want. Making their salon visit enjoyable and relaxing.
Chelsey Sullivan
Having trained with The Hair Priory since 2009 I have recently joined the Stylist team. Working at the salon I’ve gained extensive experience in Hair up styling, wedding hair and clip in/ glue in extensions. I love doing girls hair up’s for parties and proms. Over the last 3 years I have worked backstage at the West Country Wedding Show’s. It’s a really exciting to see the models transformed.
Gemma Collins
2011 has been an exciting year for Gemma having become a fully qualified stylist she joined the team. Gemma has experienced the glamorous side of the industry jetting to New York last year as Miss Teen Uk to take part in the Miss Teen World pageant. Roxanne Wright
I’m a senior stylist at the hair priory. I’m a very sociable person and enjoy every aspect of hairdressing colouring, cutting. I particularly enjoy cutting and styling Gents hair. I have recently completed a course with Phab wholesale and am now specialising in the Keratin Smoothing Complex (Brazilian Blowdry) which is very popular at the moment.
Jaimie Sullivan
I am an artistic Director at the hair priory. I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing cutting, colouring and blow-drying. I particularly specialise in styling and putting up hair- for example wedding hair, Ball/ Prom hair and Session styling. I have done a lot of hair for photo shoots and for wedding magazines. I have also played a key role in the West Country Wedding Show Catwalk for the last couple of years.
Katie Davis
I am an Artistic Director at the salon. I have 9 years experience in hairdressing and love all aspects of my job. Particularly cutting and colouring. I have qualified in levels 1, 2 and 3 hairdressing and also have my A1 assessors awards. I am fully Racoon extension trained and also trained in the new Keratin Smoothing Complex treatments. I have been on severeal cutting and colouring courses including the opportunity to be taught by Erroll Douglas and Kevin Murphy themselves.
Naomi Needham
I am a senior stylist with 10 years in the industry. I’m a member of a creative team within the salon. Producing photographic work for avant guard images and fashion forward trends. I love my job and am always trying to further my knowledge in the industry by attending courses to learn the latest techniques and styles to then introduce to my clients in the salon.
Samantha Short
I have been in the hairdressing industry for 24 years, my career has taken me from apprenticeship at Maison Terry to working as a stylist at both GHQ and then Vaughan’s. Whilst at Vaughans city centre salon i became Salon Manager and enjoyed this role for 4 years. Inspiring me to open my own salon. 4 years ago i fulfilled this desire and opened The hair priory. We offer great hairdressing, styling, beauty and nails in a luxurious setting. We pride ourselves of offering those added extras, good coffee, wine and conversation topped off with excellent customer service.
Becky Jones
As a stylist at the Hair Priory I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing. Colouring, cutting, styling and meeting new people.
I love to use my artistic side to create exciting new colours and cuts from short, textured, funky to soft feminine and sophisticated, keeping up to date with new season trends. I attend seminars and courses to consistently update my knowledge and skills.
